Booking Terms

Reservations

For a standard booking you must pay the full charge of the room cost at the time of booking. Bookings are non- refundable, and no amendments are permitted, unless agreed by the company. If the company does allow a booking modification, it is at the discretion of the company, and administration fees may be charged. If you are using Booking.com, you must enter your card details at the time of booking, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your booking without notice.

All reservations are subject to availability. We accept payment by debit or credit card (not including Amex and Diner cards) or cash. By booking you are authorising the company to debit the card provided and to charge any additional monies owed to be collected in this manner.

If you have booked a standard room, this includes a cooked breakfast option and tea, coffee or orange juice. Please ask if you require more details. Your booking confirmation is generated by our system generically and if you booked on Booking.com, this does not supersede your confirmation from Booking.com.

Room prices

Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT (20%). Prices include a maximum of 2 persons per room. When booking with us, breakfast is included in the room price unless stated as room only. All other meals and drinks must be paid for separately.

The Crown Inn reserves the right to review its room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance, the quoted room price may change before the date of your stay at the Crown Inn. Although The Crown Inn aims to inform you before it makes price increases, The Crown Inn reserves the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date or you may cancel the reservation without charge. The Crown Inn may charge a supplement during key events and periods of high demand. For details of our room prices, please check our website www.thecrownofcookham.co.uk or call The Crown Inn directly on 01628 532666. Booking directly provides the most accurate availability.

Please note an administration charge maybe applied when making changes to an existing booking (for example date changes) and you will always be informed of this prior to any changes being confirmed.

Cancellations

If you cancel a bedroom reservation within 48 hours of arrival, then the room payment will be forfeited. Cancellation information must retained for any travel insurance you may have. Partial cancellation of a booking (i.e. reducing the length of your stay) may result in an increase of the room rate for the remainder of the stay or cancellation of the entire booking. If you have booked a stay with a minimum term, for example: 2 night minimum stay for a Saturday night, the amount for the two nights remains payable in full, should you cancel part of your stay.

Cancellations and amendments must be requested in writing (either by email or by post), and will be confirmed to you by email. Any amount you are entitled to be refunded will be issued by cheque or BACS.
